Request approved, CFAC co-chair will sign, Rose will obtain Arthur’s signature and forward appropriately.

VI. Report on Peer Specialist Training – Rosemary Weaver
Rosemary attended training, will obtain certification once requirements have been determined and certificates are issued. Empowering consumers through peer support. ACTT and Community Support Teams services require peer specialist.

VII. Guest Comments
Difficulty with DD services and VO. VO is six months behind in processing request. Rose suggested filing a formal compliant to Provider & Consumer Relations department at WHN. Bob commented on movement of Medicaid dollars to VO removed the localization of the service authorization/ service management. Jim encouraged CFAC to monitor LME consolidations. Coordinating care between providers is very difficult within adult mental health. Network seems to be saturated, making it more difficult to refer a consumer to another provider for additional services. Lack of psychiatrist continues to be an issue. Encouraged consumers and family members to contact legislative reps, they must respond in writing if requested to do so.
