What is the Consumer and Family Advisory Committee (CFAC)?Consumer and Family Advisory Committee (CFAC) – a formalized group of consumers and family members appointed in accordance with the requirements of NCGS 122c-170. CFAC is the Consumer and Family Advisory Committee of the Western Highlands Network Board. It is made up of consumers of services and family members of consumers. The purpose of the CFAC is to ensure meaningful participation by consumers and families in shaping the development and delivery of public mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services in the eight county region. We will work to ensure that consumers receive quality services and that they and their families have a voice in the development of services, policies and procedures.
