WHN Update
|
· November 13th is the WHN Board Annual Meeting at 6pm at the Crest Center. Rowe award will go to the three consumers that helped with the CIT Program. Does CFAC want to recognize MCADD as a program that supports the system.
· Handout – Systems Management Allocations & PCPM Amounts Allocation Amount as of November 3, 2005.
· Proposed Budget – Arthur recommends eliminating the Stipend for Executive and Joint Executive Meetings but keep it for the Regular CFAC Meeting. The object of the stipend was to attract new members. Rosemary commented that the Finance Committee was trying to be consistent with the meetings. Most agreed that they would not mind not receiving a stipend for member meetings but could not be voted on due to no Quorum.
· Handout – LME Service Expenditures and Amount Unexpended – Most of the money not spent has a lot to do with billing stuff – Items that are paid back after the fiscal year ends. Also have problems with some providers being able to provide the services.
· Consumer Relations Increase Pilot Project – Handouts of response to request. Arthur will be glad to answer any questions around the Mental Health First Aid or the requested proposal or response. Bob still feels staff need to be hired out in the community. All members present voiced their opinions and now it is left up to the WHN Board.
· Transportation is a major issue in Rutherford Counties. Mobile Crisis for Adults will start November 1st. Recommendation to Rutherford County is to have Magistrate’s Office call WHN Emergency Hotline for consult.
