Proposed Budget (Sharon Lentz)
|
Buncombe County has waived rent for WHN for the Months of April, May and June of 2009 to help with financial issues. All other items that the WHN Board asked be reviewed and corrected. An updated copy of the Proposed Budget with corrections has been handed out.
Bob gave a handout regarding County General Funds – SFY 08 and SFY 09. Handout was information Per Area MHDDSA Program Fiscal Monitoring Report Submissions. CFAC agreed to make a generic statement in the CFAC Report to the WHN Board regarding the material.

Bob will do the WHN Board Report and email the draft out to the group.

Hearing Voices: Heidi will find some Saturday dates in August 2009 that either Courtney/Donald/Dick would be able to train CFAC (Train the Trainer). The dates will be emailed to CFAC Members and a date will be picked according to those that email a response to Heidi.

Heidi will finish merging the Action Plan and Crisis Issues into one document and email it out to the group for comments.

Priority Items for CFAC (All)
|
CFAC discussed the items and felt that Expansion of Recovery Focused Services is something that the group would love to focus on. CFAC would love for Donald Reuss email CFAC some information regarding the topic before coming to speak at the next meeting so that CFAC can be prepared with questions or comments.
|
Heidi will ask Donald to email some information regarding the topic and find out if he will be able to attend the June 22nd meeting.
Heidi will add the Focused item to the current Action Plan.

CFAC Survey Update (Rosemary Weaver)
|
Members were reminded to fill out the survey and return to Rosemary as soon as possible. Rosemary will compile the responses and give CFAC a draft of the compiled responses.

On-Going / New Business
|
Christine informed the group about SAFE (Support and Family Education), group talks being held at the VA hospital and is geared towards families dealing with Mental Health Issues.
October 5th – Transylvania County will be hosting some sort of forum. Ruth Anne will update CFAC as information becomes available.
