Approval of May 12th Minutes

Approved.

Heidi will post the approved minutes to the WHN Website.

Expansion of Recovery Focused Services & Recovery Education Centers (Donald Reuss)

Handout.  Donald spoke to the group about how the different states are working Recovery Services and how did these states start out and get to where they are today.  WHN is working on getting this information so WNC can also work in this direction.  Step 1:  Get the needed players trained.  WHN is working on having the Trainer instead of paying for someone else to do the trainings.  Andrea Morris is working on the curriculum and will be done in about 30 days and WHN hopes to have PET Training sometime the end of August.

A few WHN are also trained in Mental Health First Aid.  WHN will provide this training throughout the year.

CFAC decided to put together an AdHoc Committee called the Peer Support Study Team.

Peer Support Study Team - Rosemary, Tracey, Christine and Leslie.

Heidi will add this information to the Action/Crisis Plan.

CARF Update (Donald Reuss)

Donald briefed CFCA on the results of the CARF Review.  A report is expected to come in about six weeks but the reviewers did note many positive things about WHN.
