Western Highlands Announcement:

Western Highlands Network LME was announced by NC-DHHS as the second expansion site (Mecklenburg being the 1st) for expanding the Piedmont 1915(b)(c) Medicaid Waiver (DHHS Special Implementation Update #81).

For more information about 1915(b)(c) Waivers - see the article in the September/October issue of the NC Council Newsletter and the presentation made to the Western Highlands Board in March, 2010.

Frequent updates to the implementation of the Medicaid Waiver will be announced in the WHN Newsletter and posted at this site. The WHN Waiver Implementation Team, including two CFAC members and a major provider, will meet each week to discuss the implementation efforts.
