Happy Birthday Western Highlands Network

On January 1, 2007, WHN will start its fourth year of operations.

Since WHN began in January of 2004, it has been our mission to ensure the provision of high quality, consumer responsive, culturally sensitive, and cost effective services to those who are living with mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse.

Just the facts...

  • As of the date of this publication, there are approximately 314 different providers who have served over 17,000 consumers in the 8 county area.
  • Western Highlands Network has approximately 65 multi-disciplinary employees who perform the mandated Access, Services Management, Provider and Consumer Relations, Quality Management, Information Services, Claims Adjudication and associated support functions.
  • To date, Western Highlands Network has processed approximately 135,000 service authorization requests with an approval rate of approximately 86%.
  • During fiscal year 2005-06 , WHN received and responded to 299 grievances, concerns, or complaints regarding consumer care, the majority coming from consumers of child and adult mental health services.

Holiday Schedule:

WHN will be closed on Monday, January 1 for New Years and January 15 for Martin Luther King Day.
